Your mission
About the Product Team:
The central Technical Product Management team enables EDRI to use the latest and greatest charging and energy technologies and, hence, to build a reliable and seamless Pan-European EV charging network by selecting, qualifying and further developing the product and services for EDRI.

The part you’ll play: 
To strengthen the Technical Product Management team EDRI is seeking a highly skilled and motivated (Senior-) Product Manager for Payment Solutions. In this role, you will be at the forefront of shaping the customer and user experience for EV drivers at our charging hubs and drive both hard- and software development and implementation of secure and scalable payment solutions (e.g.: Plug & Charge, Payment Kiosk) from end to end, including price display, authentication, credit card processing, and billing functionalities. Hence, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple countries to ensure that EDRI’s payment solutions comply with industry regulations and standards and provide a world-class customer experience.

Hence, your main tasks and responsibilities will be…: 

Strategy and Roadmap:
  • Define and establish a shared strategic vision on EDRI’s payment systems and solutions, aligning with EDRI’s strategic objectives and market trends
Market Research and Analysis: 
  • Conduct market research and collaborate with a wide range of technical experts to identify and translate market needs 
  • Ensure that payment solutions comply with industry regulations and standards, including data security and privacy requirements
Requirements Definition and System Development:
  • Control and manage the implementation of secure and scalable authentication and payment solutions, such as Plug & Charge and Payment Kiosk, from end-2-end, incl. authentication and payment processes as well as billing functionalities
  • Collaborate with software development, finance, operations, and deployment teams among others to integrate the payment systems seamlessly into EDRI’s ecosystem
Product Life-Cycle and Supplier Relation Management:
  • Control, manage and maintain energy storage and energy management products along the product lifecycle with EDRI’s partners and suppliers, incl.:
    • Defining and managing technical product and service requirements 
    • Defining and conducting acceptance tests of new products and features
    • Create and maintain relevant product documentation
    • Provide technical training and guidance to internal and external stakeholders
    • Plan, manage and drive the New Product Introduction process from end-to-end
  • Establish and maintain strong relationship with EDRI partners and suppliers to support planning, on-time delivery and operation of energy storage and management products 
Your profile
  • Degree in science, technology, engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • Proven track record and profound experience in (Technical-) Project or Product Management, Engineering, Software Development, as Payment Specialist, Payment Consultant, Payment Manager, Product Owner Payment or similar roles
  • Profound knowledge of payment systems and processing as well as billing methodologies combined with proven experience in the payment/fintech industry 
  • Experience in the eMobility, in particular EV charging is beneficial
  • Strong project management skills combined with a “can-do” mentality and entrepreneurial mindset to independently control, manage and drive projects and initiatives within complex environments and a wide range of stakeholders
  • Strong consulting and communication skills as well as a collaborative way of working
  • Business fluent in English
