Manager Accountant & Tax (m/f/d)

Your mission

In this role, you will support the Accountant & Tax function in an international energy company, working closely with external accounting and tax advisors and contributing to ERP and finance system development projects.

Monitoring and analyzing the development of balance sheet accounts and cash flow statements prepared by the external accounting service provider
Reviewing and validating VAT returns prepared by external tax advisors
Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Contributing to the preparation and documentation of transfer pricing files
Performing plausibility checks of travel expense reports, employee reimbursement claims, and hospitality cost documentation
Supporting projects related to the enhancement of the ERP system (especially MS Business Central) and other finance‑related applications
Collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders in an international environment

Your profile

Commercial training or training with a tax advisor, including completed further training as an accountant and/or tax specialist
At least 3-5 years of professional experience in the accounting department of an industrial company (ideally in the energy sector) or in auditing/tax consulting
Interest in and foundational knowledge of international (European) VAT regulations, with willingness to further develop expertise
Application-secure in the area of national and international (IFRS) accounting
Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills
Preferably: experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI)
Advantageous: experience with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Strong command of English and experience working in an intercultural environment
