(Senior) Operations Manager – Project Focus (m/f/d)

Your mission
As a (Senior) Project Manager Operations (m/f/d), you will drive complex operational transformation initiatives from concept to execution. You act as the central interface between operations, IT, leadership, and external partners, translating business needs into scalable operating models, integrated systems, and high-performing service setups. Your work ensures measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, scalability, and cost across the organization.

Your responsibilities include:
  • Leading cross-functional projects with clear scope, milestones, and delivery accountability
  • Steering multiple initiatives in parallel while ensuring on-time and on-budget execution
  • Owning IT-facing operations projects across platforms, tooling, integrations, and data flows
  • Driving automation, system integration, and KPI-based operational steering
  • Managing procurement processes, RFPs, vendor evaluations, and contract negotiations
  • Defining service scopes, governance models, and operational readiness for go-live
  • Establishing and managing supplier performance frameworks (KPIs, SLAs, QBRs)
  • Analyzing operational data to identify optimization, standardization, and cost-saving opportunities
Your profile
  • Several years of experience in project management within infrastructure-heavy environments (eMobility, energy, utilities, telco, or similar)
  • Strong background in IT-related interface projects, system integrations, or operational tooling
  • Proven experience in procurement/tender processes and supplier performance management using KPIs and SLAs
  • Structured project leader: excellent in planning, stakeholder alignment, risk management, and execution
  • Operations & IT translator: able to bridge business processes with technical solutions
  • Vendor & contract savvy: confident in tenders, performance governance, and partner steering
  • Data-driven mindset: comfortable using metrics to steer projects and operational outcomes
  • Hands-on problem solver: pragmatic, solution-oriented, and resilient under time pressure
  • Clear communicator across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • High ownership mentality with strong attention to detail and delivery
