Global Head of Operations (m/f/d)

Your mission
  • Take full end-to-end responsibility for global operations performance across all markets, ensuring scalable, reliable, and efficient operation of EDRI’s EV charging infrastructure
  • Build and scale a high-performing international operations organization, starting with Germany as the foundation and evolving into a globally aligned operating model across 11+ countries
  • Drive the transformation from decentralized country operations toward a more centralized, standardized global operations setup in close alignment with senior leadership
  • Define and implement a scalable Target Operating Model (TOM), including governance structures, clear roles and responsibilities, and standardized processes across markets
  • Ensure operational excellence by balancing network reliability, cost efficiency, and service quality while enabling rapid and sustainable growth of the charging network
  • Lead cross-border transformation initiatives across processes, systems, partners, and organizational structures to enable long-term scalability
  • Foster a strong culture of accountability, safety, transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all operational teams
Your profile
  • 5–10+ years of experience in senior operations leadership roles within EV charging, energy, utilities, telecom infrastructure, or other asset-heavy industries
  • Proven track record of scaling and managing distributed, multi-country operations in complex, multi-regulatory environments
  • Strong experience in building, developing, and leading international operations teams, including cross-border stakeholder alignment
  • Demonstrated ability to drive operational transformation, including standardization, centralization, and process optimization
  • Solid understanding of EV charging ecosystems, including OCPP, OCPI, CPO backend systems, grid integration, and field service operations
  • Experience managing external partners and vendors, including SLA negotiation, supplier management, and driving cost efficiencies through consolidation and strategic procurement
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and OPEX optimization in operational environments
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage data, analytics, and digital tools to improve operational performance and decision-making
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively across cultures and align global and local teams
  • Hands-on, execution-oriented approach combined with strategic thinking and the ability to deliver results in a fast-scaling environment
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Energy Management, or a related field (MBA preferred)
