Your mission

  • Take full ownership of financial management for the Polish entity, ensuring efficient, high-quality, and compliant internal processes
  • Act as a key interface between the local team, EDRI regional/central finance, and external partners (BPO/accounting), driving alignment and continuous improvement
  • Take active participation in developing and optimizing scalable finance structures and processes in a fast-growing organization, contributing at both local and CEE regional level
  • Shape and optimize scalable finance structures and processes in a fast-growing organization, contributing at both local and CEE regional level
  • Ensure compliant execution of core finance operations, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), receivables management, and effective cash flow monitoring
  • Oversee fixed asset management, including proper accounting, capitalization, and tracking of charging infrastructure and other assets
  • Ensure full compliance with local regulations (PL GAAP, IFRS, tax and VAT requirements) and manage statutory reporting to relevant authorities (e.g.NBP, GUS, Tax Office)
  • Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, while monitoring KPIs and CAPEX/OPEX performance to drive business insights
  • Provide financial analysis for business cases and strategic decisions, and coordinate reporting and documentation for national and EU grants, ensuring audit readiness

Your profile

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a senior finance or controlling role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS and/or PL GAAP) and experience in designing and implementing efficient financial processes in collaboration with business, IT, global finance teams, and external BPO partners
  • Strong analytical mindset combined with a structured and solution-oriented way of working
  • Hands-on mentality with the ability tooperateeffectively on both strategic and operational levels, ideally in a start-up or scale-up environment
  • Flexibility to work in a hybrid setup: initially remote, with a transition to an on-site presence in central Poland
  • Experience with EU grant administration is considered a plus
  • Full professional proficiency in both English and Polish
